So I have found a new service that I like.  opendns.com, it is a free dns service.  They offer a lot of additional services such as url blocking, whitelisting, and anti-phishing.  The service is pretty cool and I am looking to use it with the squid cache to see if I can build a low cost/free websense type solution.  Now while it won’t give me true web analytics for what sites people go to, it will allow me to block sites and provide users some additional protection. Hopefully it will work out and this service will provide the services that I am looking for at a cost everyone can agree with.
